Appointments, Extensions of Commissions, Extension of Age
for Retirement, Transfer, and Termination of Commission
of Officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force

Pursuant to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force
Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been
pleased to approve the following appointments, extensions of
commissions, extension of age for retirement, transfer, and
termination of commission of officers of the Royal New
Zealand Air Force.

REGULAR AIR FORCE

GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH

Appointments

The under-mentioned Flight Lieutenants are granted permanent commissions in the General Duties Branch, Regular
Air Force, with effect from 3 April 1968:
Robert Charles Howe (927173).
Lyndon Frampton Davidge (82528).
Victor Rex de Bettencor (78299).

TECHNICAL BRANCH

Extension of Age for Retirement
Signals Division
Squadron Leader John Bernard Noonan, p.s.c. (70736), is granted an extension of his age for retirement until 26 November 1975.

ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPPLY BRANCH

Appointment
Equipment Division
Squadron Leader Gerald Thompson, B.A.(HONS.), DIP.ED.
(82517), is granted a permanent commission in the Administrative and Supply Branch (Equipment Division), Regular Air
Force, with effect from 3 April 1968.

EDUCATION BRANCH

Extension of Commission
Flight Lieutenant Llewelyn Lloyd Griffiths, A.N.Z.I.M.
(81322), is granted an extension of his commission until 10
June 1972, to be followed by four years in the Reserve of Air
Force Officers.

TERRITORIAL AIR FORCE

ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPPLY BRANCH

Appointment
Special Duties Division
Sergeant Colin Gerald Kirkham (712500) is granted a short-
service commission in the Administrative and Supply Branch
(Special Duties Division), Territorial Air Force, for a period
ending 22 May 1973. He is appointed in the rank of Pilot
Officer, with seniority and effect from 23 May 1968.

Transfer
Flight Lieutenant Bruce Tennent (75092) is transferred from
the Reserve of Air Force Officers to the Administrative and
Supply Branch (Special Duties Division), Territorial Air
Force, for a period ending 8 May 1973, to be followed by
four years in the Reserve of Air Force Officers, with seniority
from 5 March 1961, with effect from 9 May 1968.

RESERVE OF AIR FORCE OFFICERS

Extension of Commission
Flight Lieutenant (temp.) Trevor Beattie Morley (133255)
is granted an extension of his commission until 19 December
1971.

Termination of Commission
The commission of Flight Lieutenant Ian Robert Bailey
(80570) is terminated, with effect from 14 March 1968.

Appointment of Consul-General of Bulgaria

His Excellency the Governor-General directs it to be notified
that the appointment of
Gueogui Stefanov Konstantinov
as Consul-General of the People's Republic of Bulgaria at
Wellington has been provisionally recognised.
