NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on the 30th day of May 1968 presented to the said Court by J. Johnston and Sons Ltd. a duly incorporated company having its registered office at 72 Leet Street, Invercargill, and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Invercargill on the 26th day of July 1968 at 10 o’clock in the forenoon. Any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose. A copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

WHANGAREI CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei City Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 to execute certain public work, namely, the provision of a supply of pure water for the use of the inhabitants of the district and for this purpose the said Whangarei City Council proposes to take under the provisions of the said Public Works Act 1928 an easement over the land described in the Schedule hereto for water supply purposes. Notice is further given that plans showing the position of the easement required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council situated in Bank Street, Whangarei and are there available for public inspection without fee by all persons during office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said work or by the taking of such easement who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said easement must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, at the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, Bank Street, Whangarei.

SCHEDULE

FIRSTLY all that piece of land containing an area of 3 perches, more or less, and part of Allotment 57, Whangarei Parish, situated in Block XII, Purua Survey District, as the same is more particularly delineated on S.O. Plan 45840; and thereon coloured blue.

And secondly all that piece of land containing an area of 5 perches more or less being part land on D.P. 2058 situated in Block XII, Purua Survey District, as the same is more particularly delineated on S.O. Plan 45840 and thereon coloured yellow. (The land referred to is situated at Whau Valley).

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.

A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council in Bank Street, Te Awamutu.

Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such written objection to the Waipa County Council within 40 days from the first publication of this notice. A public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

HAWKE’S BAY CATCHMENT BOARD

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, to divert portion of the Awanui Stream and for the purposes of or in connection with such public work the land described in the First Schedule hereto is required to be taken and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is required to be taken as severance.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board situate in Browning Street, Napier, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land should if they have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the said catchment board at its office aforesaid and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
