in Block III, Whangaehu Survey District, Rangitikei County

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road
the land described in the First Schedule hereto; also hereby
proclaims as closed the road described in the Second
Schedule hereto; and also hereby takes the land described
in the Third Schedule hereto for the purpose of subsection
(6) of the said section 29; and declares that the road
first described in the said Second Schedule, when closed, and
the land described in the said Third Schedule, when taken,
shall vest in the Onga Land Co. Ltd., of Hunterville, subject
to memorandum of mortgage No. 272990; and that the road
secondly described in the said Second Schedule, when closed,
shall be incorporated in renewable lease, Volume 807, folio
69, held by Maurice Hugh Theed, of Marton, farmer, subject
to memoranda of mortgage Nos. 271145 and 624546, all
Wellington Land Registry.
