Station 30 (Aorangi), in Block XI, Pukeokahu Survey District, Wellington Land District, to its intersection with the western boundary of Block I, Wakarara Survey District; thence northerly generally along that boundary and the western boundary of Block XVIII, Ngaururoro Survey District to Trig. Station Y; thence north-easterly along a right line to a point in the middle of the Taruarau River in line with the south-western boundary of Block 78, Maraekakaho Crown Grant District, in Block II, Ngaururoro Survey District; thence easterly generally down the middle of that river to and northerly generally up the middle of the Ngaururoro River to the point of commencement, excluding therefrom the cities of Napier and Hastings hereinbefore described, and the boroughs of Havelock North and Taradale hereinbefore described.

BOUNDARIES OF MEEANEE RIDING

ALL those areas in the Hawke's Bay Land District, Hawke's Bay County.

Firstly, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the eastern side of Embankment Road in line with the middle of the stopbank on the northern side of the Ahuriri Lagoon main outfall channel and and proceeding southerly along that eastern side of Embankment Road to the northern end of the roadside boundary, bearing 342° 48', distance 191.8 links, shown on D.P. 6313; thence south-easterly along a right line to the intersection of the left bank of the Old Bed of the Tutaekuri River and the right bank of the main gravity drain shown on S.O. 2252; thence south-westerly along that right bank of the main gravity drain to the centre line of the proposed motorway as shown on S.O. 5477, and along the right line to the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 6625, to its intersection with the middle of the private road bearing 341°, approximately, as shown on S.O. 2252; thence northerly approximately 12 chains, north-easterly approximately 55 chains, and again northerly approximately 73 chains along the middle of private roads shown on S.O. 2252 and the production of the last-mentioned middle line to the middle of the stopbank on the northern side of the Ahuriri Lagoon main outfall channel; thence easterly along the middle of that stopbank to the point of commencement.
