AUO'KLAND CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) to be known as the Drainage Loan 1967, $80,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of upgrading the sanitary drainage reticulation in the Judges Bay area, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal point nought two nought four of a cent (.0204c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City) comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
The Hawera Water Improvements Supplementary Loan 1967, ($8,200)
THE following resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hawera Borough Council, held at the Council Chambers, High Street, Hawera, on the 7th day of March 1968:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hawera Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $8,200 authorised to be raised by the Hawera Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the purpose for which The Water Improvements Loan 1963 ($92,000) was sanctioned. (Namely, completing construction of the 500,000 gallon reservoir including installation and improvements to interconnection overflow piping and installation of electro-magnetic flow meter and telemetry instruments), the said Hawera Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one four three nought nine three (.0143093) of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Hawera (defined in New Zealand Gazette, 1960, No. 4, at page 68); and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 15th day of February in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being for a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The Waingongora Pipe Bridge Replacement Loan 1967 ($23,000)
THE following resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hawera Borough Council held at the Council Chambers, High Street, Hawera, on the 7th day of March 1968:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hawera Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $23,000 authorised to be raised by the Hawera Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of replacing the water pipe bridge over the Waingongora River, reinstating water mains thereon, reinstating the concrete weir in the Kapuni River, and replacing the access foot-
bridge at the Kapuni intake, the said Hawera Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three five nine two three (.035923) of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Hawera (defined in New Zealand Gazette, 1960, No. 4, at page 68); and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 10th day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being for a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

MANAWATU-OROUA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
The Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board Electrical Reticulation Loan 1968, $300,000
PURSUANT to section 45 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) authorised to be raised by the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of general reconstruction and extension of the Board's reticulation system, the said Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of one sixteenth (1/16th) of a cent in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board District as defined in the Proclamation appearing in the Gazette, No. 40, 16 June 1955, pages 963-964; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board held at Palmerston North on Monday, the 17th day of June 1968.

The Wellington City Renewal Loan No. 1, 1968, of $273,400
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 10th day of April 1968.
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two hundred and seventy-three thousand four hundred dollars ($273,400), to be known as The Wellington City Renewal Loan No. 1, 1968 of $273,400, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Aerodrome Development Loan No. 4, 1957- $1,000,000, and Sewerage Loan 1958-$600,000, which mature on 1 May 1968 and 1 June 1968 respectively, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two two cents (.022c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION making special rate passed by Council at a meeting on 20 June 1968:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $244,000 authorised to be raised by the Alexandra Borough Council pursuant to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of providing a satisfactory water supply for the Borough, the Alexandra Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0077 dollars in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Alexandra; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable at half-yearly intervals during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is paid off."
