BOUNDARIES OF ARROW RIDING OF COUNTY OF LAKE
ALL that area in Lake County bounded by a line commencing at Fog Peak on the western boundary of Run 333B, Matukituki Survey District and proceeding generally north-easterly along the north-western boundary of that run and its production to the right bank of the Matukituki River; thence generally south-easterly along the right bank of that river and the left bank of the Motatapu River to the north-eastern boundary of Run 334B; thence south-easterly and generally south-westerly along the north-eastern and generally south-eastern boundaries of that Run 334B to the northernmost corner of Run 25; thence generally south-easterly along the generally north-eastern boundary of that run and its production to the south-eastern side of No. 89 State Highway; thence generally easterly along the generally northern boundaries of Runs 632 and 726 to the middle of the Roaring Meg; thence generally southerly down the middle of the Roaring Meg and its production to the middle of the Kawarau River; thence up the middle of that river to the confluence of the Nevis River; thence generally westerly to and along a leading ridge through Trig Stations I, Mount Mason, O, H, Mount Rosa, L, Mount Edward, N, Mount Salmon, to the north-western corner of Run 330c; thence generally north-westerly along the generally south-western boundaries of Run 345c to the eastern boundary of Block XII, Coneburn Survey District; thence northerly along that eastern boundary to the right bank of the Kawarau River; thence north-easterly along that bank to its intersection with a right line due south from the southernmost corner of Section 98, Block III, Shotover Survey District; thence due north to the intersection of that right line with the left bank of the Shotover River; thence generally north-westerly along the left bank of that river to its intersection with the eastern boundary of Block IV, Shotover Survey District; thence generally northerly along eastern boundaries of Blocks IV and XVI, Shotover Survey District, to the north-western corner of Section 27, Block XVII, Shotover Survey District; thence generally north-easterly along the generally south-eastern boundary of Run 27 to the south-western corner of Run 26; thence north-westerly and north-easterly along the south-western and north-western boundaries of that Run 26 and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the right (western) bank of the Arrow River; thence generally northerly along the right bank of that river to its junction with Tui Creek; thence north-westerly, north-easterly, and south-easterly along the south-western, north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Run 23 to the southernmost corner of Run 444; thence generally northerly along the western boundaries of Runs 334B, 333A and 333B to the point of commencement excluding therefrom the Borough of Arrowtown hereinbefore described.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Lake County, bounded by a line commencing at Mount Aspiring and proceeding generally north-easterly along the north-western boundary of Matukituki Survey District to the easternmost corner of Run 468; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of that run to the Glacier Burn; thence southerly along a right line through Trig Station PP and its
production to the right bank of the Matukituki River (West Branch); thence generally south-easterly along that bank to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Run 333B; thence generally southerly to and along the generally western boundary of Runs 333B, 333A, and 334B to the southernmost corner of Run 444; thence north-westerly, south-westerly, and south-easterly along the north-eastern, north-western and south-western boundaries of Run 23 to Tui Creek; thence generally southerly along the right bank of the Arrow River to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Run 26; thence south-westerly to and along the north-western boundary and south-easterly along the south-western boundary of Run 26 to its south-western corner; thence generally south-westerly along the generally south-eastern boundary of Run 27 to the north-western corner of Section 27, Block XVII, Shotover Survey District; thence generally southerly along the eastern boundaries of Blocks XVI, IV, Shotover Survey District, to the intersection of the eastern boundary of Block IV aforesaid with the left bank of the Shotover River; thence south-easterly along the left bank of that river to its intersection with a right line due south from the southernmost corner of Section 98, Block III, Shotover Survey District; thence due south to the right bank of the Kawarau River; thence south-westerly along the right bank of that river to the eastern boundary of Block XII, Coneburn Survey District; thence southerly along that eastern boundary to the south-western corner of Run 345c; thence generally south-easterly along the generally south-western boundary of that run to the north-western corner of Run 330c; thence generally southerly along the summit of the Remarkables and the Hector Mountains to James Peak; thence generally westerly along the northern boundary of Run 354A and its production to the eastern shore of Lake Wakatipu; thence westerly along a right line to the western shore of Lake Wakatipu; thence generally north-westerly, easterly, and south-easterly along the generally south-western, northern, and north-eastern shores of that lake to the middle of Stone Creek in Run 346b; thence generally easterly up the middle of Stone Creek and its production to Mount Larkins; thence north-easterly along a right line to Mount Cunningham and again north-easterly along a right line to Mount Aspiring, the point of commencement. Excluding therefrom the Borough of Queenstown hereinbefore described.

Reserve Bank of New Zealand
PURSUANT to section 33 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964, the Reserve Bank, acting with the approval of the Minister of Finance, hereby gives notice that as at the close of business on 18 June 1968, and until further notice, balances to be maintained in the Reserve Bank by each trading bank shall be equal to an amount which, when added to that bank’s holdings of Reserve Bank notes as disclosed in that bank’s latest available weekly return of banking statistics under the Statistics Act 1955, will be not less than the aggregate of:
8 percent of that bank’s demand deposits in New Zealand plus 3 percent of that bank’s time deposits in New Zealand as shown in the last preceding monthly return furnished by that bank in accordance with section 31 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964.
