Acquisition of Land as Part of the Kauri Park Scenic Reserve

NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired as a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of Part IV of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, as an addition to the Kauri Park Scenic Reserve, to be administered as a scenic reserve by the North Shore Scenic Board.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT-BIRKENHEAD BOROUGH

Lots 26 and 27, D.P. 9511, being part Allotment 149, Taka-puna Parish, situated in Block XI, Waitemata Survey District: Area, 3 acres 1 rood 25.8 perches, more or less. Certificate of title, Volume 13D, folio 1144.

The Road Classification (Waimairi County) Notice 1968

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955* the Commissioner of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Waimairi County) Notice 1968.
  2. The Waimairi County Council's proposed classification of the road as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.
  3. So much of the Warrant dated the 1st day of November 1962† as relates to the classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regu-lations 1955*, the Commissioner of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Manaia Town District) Notice No. 2, 1968.
  2. The Manaia Town Council's proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.
  3. The Road Classification (Manaia Town District) Notice dated 4 March 1968† is hereby revoked.

Approval of Revolving Amber Lights for Certain Vehicles

PURSUANT to regulation 39 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Commissioner of Transport hereby approves the fitting of one revolving amber light on each animal ambulance vehicle owned and operated by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Inc. provided:

  1. That the light is used only when the vehicle is stationary at the scene of an accident, while an injured animal is removed from the road.
  2. That the vehicle is painted a conspicuous colour.
  3. That if any such vehicle is sold then the approval for that vehicle will cease.

National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 15 March 1968 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington) from the southern boundary of Masterton Borough generally southwards to the northern boundary of Carterton Borough a distance of 64 miles as more particularly shown on sheets 1, 2, and 3 of M.O.W. 14328 and the accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Ministry of Works, Masterton, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Notice of Varied Hours for Sale of Liquor at Tauranga Hotel, Tauranga

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as inserted by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act (No. 2) 1967, I, John Lochiel Robson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Bay of Plenty Licensing Committee, on 3 May 1968, made an order fixing hours other than the usual hours for opening and closing the Tauranga Hotel, Tauranga, for the sale of liquor to the public, namely that such hotel premises be authorised to open at 9 o'clock in the morning and close at 8 o'clock in the evening, Monday to Saturday inclusive.

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, open at 10 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, open at 11 a.m. and close at 10 p.m.

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as inserted by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act (No. 2) 1967, I, John Lochiel Robson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the East Coast Licensing Committee, on 2 May 1968, made an order fixing hours other than the usual hours for opening and closing the Coronation Hotel, Gisborne, for the sale of liquor to the public as follows:

Monday to Thursday inclusive, open at 9 a.m., and close at 8 p.m.
Friday and Saturday, open at 9 a.m. and close at 2 p.m., re-open at 4 p.m. and close at 10 p.m.
On Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, and Thursday before Good Friday, open at 11 a.m., and close at 10 p.m.
