Notice is hereby given that applications have been made for the approval of duty by the Minister of Customs as follows:

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of these applications should do so in writing on or before 6 June 1968. Submissions should include a reference to the application number, Tariff item, and description of goods concerned, be addressed to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, and supported by information as to:
(a) The range of equivalent goods manufactured locally;
(b) The proportion of New Zealand and imported materials used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory cost in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.

Tariff Notice No. 1968/43—Application for Determination
NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for the determination of rates of duty by the Minister of Customs as follows:

Submissions should include a reference to the application number, Tariff item, and description of goods concerned, be addressed to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, and supported by information as to:
(a) The quality, range, supply, etc., of the above-described goods produced in New Zealand, and
(b) The landed cost and selling price, including c.d.v., and cost into store in terms of f.o.b., insurance, freight, exchange, other landing charges, duty, etc., of equivalent goods of overseas origin.
