A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the General Assembly of New Zealand stands prorogued to the 2nd day of May 1968: And whereas for certain causes and considerations I have thought fit to prorogue it further:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the New Zealand Constitution Act 1852, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby further prorogue the General Assembly until Thursday, the 6th day of June 1968, and summon it to meet at 2.30 p.m. on that day in the Parliament House in the City of Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 26th day of April 1968.
