is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 hereby resolves:

(a) To borrow the sum of $53,600 for the purpose of repaying the said loan.

(b) That the sum of $53,600 shall be payable on the 1st day of June 1992 or such earlier date as may be determined by Council.

(c) That, for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 5, 1968—$53,600, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.05 cents in the $ on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Te Atatu Riding; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 24 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

(d) That authority be granted to gazette this resolution.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of an extract from the minutes passed by the Waitemata County Council on the 28th day of March 1968.

TAURANGA CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Tauranga City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $20,000 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting bridges, culverts, and protecting roading to the proposed Mangapapa power project, the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought two seven cents (.027c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Tauranga City Council Electrical Supply Special Rating Area; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Tauranga City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $30,000 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of preparing plans and specifications in connection with the building of two hydro-electric stations on the Wairoa River, the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought three nought three cents (.0303c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Tauranga City Council Electrical Supply Special Rating Area; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Tauranga City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $110,000 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned Act to meet the balance of the City Council’s share of providing a hard-surfaced runway at Tauranga airport, the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought three eight six cents (.0386c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

OROUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1968, $24,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Oroua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-four thousand dollars ($24,000) authorised to be raised by the Oroua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Oroua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.062 cents in the $ on the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Oroua except Ashhurst County Town; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RICHMOND BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply and Reticulation Loan 1967, $220,000.00—First Issue of $150,000.00

THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and regulations thereunder and of all other powers in that behalf thereunto enabling it, the Richmond Borough Council doth hereby resolve as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000), authorised to be raised by the Richmond Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing the extension and improvement of reticulation and water supply, the said Richmond Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal three one five cents (.315c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Richmond; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully repaid.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Richmond Borough Council held on the 18th day of April 1968.

SECURITY RATE

Flaxbourne Hall Loan 1967

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Awatere County Council hereby resolves:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $5,000 authorised to be raised by the Awatere County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of additions and renovations to the Flaxbourne Hall, the said Awatere County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.05 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Flaxbourne Hall Special Rating Area; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
