Unclaimed Property—Notice of Election by the Public Trustee to Become Manager Under Public Trust Office Act 1957, Part V

WHEREAS David Bishop, of Kaiapoi, in New Zealand, shepherd, is the owner of a one-third undivided share or interest in the property mentioned in the Schedule hereto: And whereas the Public Trustee, having made due inquiry, does not know where the said David Bishop is, or whether he is alive or dead, or whether he has any agent or administrator in New Zealand with authority to take possession of and administer the said property: And whereas of the said undivided one-third share or interest in the said property (as estimated by the Public Trustee) does not exceed $4,000 and for the purposes of subsection (2) of section 80 of the Public Trust Office Act 1957 the Public Trustee is satisfied that it is advisable that he should become manager of the said undivided one-third share or interest in the said property : Now, therefore, the Public Trustee, in exercise of the authority conferred on him by the said subsection (2) hereby elects to be manager of the said undivided one-third share or interest in the said property under Part V of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situated in Block XVI of the Rangiora Survey District containing 37 acres 2 roods, more or less, being lot 1 on Deposited Plan number 8874, part of Rural Section 1393, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 5A, folio 1267, Canterbury Registry.

Notice Prohibiting the Standing of Vehicles on Roads

It is hereby notified that, pursuant to the National Roads Board Bylaw 1958, No. 1*, the Board has, by resolution carried at its meeting on 21 February 1968, prohibited the standing of vehicles on the portion of State Highway 30 as described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ON the south side of S.H. 30 for a distance of 38 feet westwards from the intersection with Maniaiti Road western boundary. On the north side of S.H. 30 for a distance of 114 feet westwards from the intersection with Maniaiti Road western boundary and for a distance of 48 feet eastwards from the intersection with the Maniaiti Road eastern boundary.

Notice of Varied Hours for Sale of Liquor at the Tophouse Hotel, Tophouse, and the Customhouse Hotel, Port Nelson

PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as inserted by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act (No. 2) 1967, I, John Lochiel Robson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Nelson Licensing Committee, on 19 March 1968, made orders fixing hours other than the usual hours for opening and closing of hotel premises for the sale of liquor to the public as follows:

Tophouse Hotel, Tophouse—
Monday to Saturday inclusive, open at 10 a.m., and close at 6 p.m.
Re-open at 7 p.m., and close at 10 p.m.

Customhouse Hotel, Port Nelson—
Monday to Saturday inclusive, open at 8 a.m., and close at 7 p.m.
