PURSUANT to the Marketing Act 1936, and the Agriculture
(Emergency Powers) Act 1934, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, hereby revokes the Milk Treatment
Corporations (Unauthorised Expenditure) Regulations 1948
made on the 30th day of June 1948 and published in the
Gazette on the 1st day of July 1948 at page 821.

Exempting Land in the North Auckland Land District From
the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925
ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General
PURSUANT to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the
Governor-General hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
THE land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby exempted
from the operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.
SCHEDULE
An undivided one-half share in all mines and minerals
other than all mines, beds, veins and seams of coal, fire-clay
and limestone, lying upon and being within and under the
following three areas of land situated in Block VIII, Purua
Survey District.
Firstly, all the land shown on D.P. 26934, being part
Allotment 51, Whangarei Parish: Area, 2 acres 1 rood 29.9
perches, more or less. Balance certificate of title, Volume
698, folio 105.
Secondly, Lot 1, D.P. 29129, being part Allotment 51,
Whangarei Parish: Area, 7 acres 2 roods 7.8 perches, more
or less. Balance certificate of title, Volume 732, folio 195.
Thirdly, part of the land shown on D.P. 1583, being part
Allotments 2 and 51, Whangarei Parish, and Lot 2, D.P.
20338, being part Allotment 51, Whangarei Parish: Area,

Lots 26 and 27, D.P. 4361, being part Section 94, Block III,
Wairio Survey District, and having an area of 1 rood 36.3
perches, more or less. This land is described in certificate of

Leslie Norman Ritchie, Esquire, of Gisborne,
to be a Stipendiary Magistrate, to exercise civil and criminal
jurisdiction within New Zealand, to hold and exercise the
duties of this office for a period from the 1st day of April
1968 to the 7th day of April 1968, both days inclusive.
