4 August Birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.
26 September Dominion Day.
24 October United Nations Day.
4th Monday in October Labour Day.
2nd Sunday in November Remembrance Day (lowered for two minutes at 11 o'clock).
14 November Birthday of Prince of Wales.
30 November St. Andrew's Day.
Opening of Parliament by Governor-General—in Wellington only (not on day when opened by Commissioners).
Arrival and swearing-in of the Governor-General Designate (in Wellington only).
Departure of the Governor-General (at the port concerned).
Anniversary of the particular province in which the town is situated.

NOTE—Whenever any of the above dates fall on a Sunday the flags are to be flown on the following Monday, except Anzac Day, when the flags are flown on the actual date.
