Declaring Land to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land situated in Block XIV, Maungataniwha Survey District, and described as follows:

98 1 30 Lot 1, D.P. No. 15859, being part Mangamuka West 3B 3, being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 357, folio 162, North Auckland Registry.

Given under the hand of his Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 4th day of March 1968.

Defining the Boundaries of the Otago Electric Power District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby define:

  1. The boundaries of the Otago Electric Power District as set out in the First Schedule hereto;
  2. The boundaries of the Otago Electric Power District Outer Area as set out in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Otago and Southland Land Districts, Counties of Bruce, Clutha, Maniototo, Taieri, Tuapeka, Waihemo, Waikouaiti, and Southland, Boroughs of Balclutha, Kaitangata, Lawrence, Milton, Naseby, and Palmerston, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast in the middle of the mouth of the Longbeach Creek, Block XIII, Tautuku Survey District, and proceeding generally north-westerly up the middle of that creek to the western boundary of Block XII, Tautuku Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary and the western boundary of Block V, Tautuku Survey District, to a point due east of Trig. Station V (Black Horn) in Block XIV, Waikawa Survey District; thence due west to that Trig. Station; thence due north to the northern boundary of Waikawa Survey District; thence westerly along that boundary to the eastern boundary of Section 5, Block XIV, Mokoreta Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary and its production to the northern side of the road forming the northern boundary of the said Section 5 and the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 3 and 2, Block XIV, aforesaid; thence generally north-westerly along that side of the road to a point due south of Trig. Station EE in Block XIV, aforesaid; thence due north to that Trig. Station; thence generally northerly along the watershed through Bleak Hill to the south-western boundary of Section 2, Block III, Mokoreta Survey District; thence generally north-westerly along the south-western boundary of that section to the Wyndham-Clinton Road and along a right line to the south-eastern corner of Section 1, Block III, aforesaid; thence generally westerly, north-westerly, and northerly along the southern, south-western, and western boundaries of that section and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the right bank of the Mokoreta (or Wyndham) River; thence generally north-easterly along that bank to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 6, Block VII, Slopedown Survey District; thence generally north-easterly along the generally north-western boundary of that section to a point due south of the westernmost corner of Section 5, Block VII, aforesaid; thence due north to that corner; thence north-westerly along the production of the south-western boundary of the said Section 5 to the north-western boundary of Lot 7, D.P. 3410; thence north-easterly along that boundary to the south-western boundary of Run 718; thence generally north-westerly and northerly along that boundary and the western boundaries of Run 704 and Section 1, Block VI, Slopedown Survey District, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the road forming the northern boundary of the said Section 1; thence westerly along the middle of that road to and northerly along the middle of the road forming the eastern boundaries of Section 12, Block II, Slopedown Survey District, and Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 4568, and the northern boundaries of the said Lot 2, and Section 4, Block II, aforesaid to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 1, Block II, aforesaid; thence westerly to and along that boundary and northerly along the western boundary of the said Section 1 and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Mataura-Clinton Road; thence generally south-easterly along the middle of that road and north-easterly and northerly along the middle line of the road forming the south-eastern and eastern boundaries of Sections 23 and 24, Block XII, Waipahi Survey District, and along that line produced to the middle of the Waipahi River; thence generally north-westerly down the middle of that river to a point in line with the north-western side of a road intersecting Section 4, Block XI, Waipahi Survey District; thence south-westerly to and along that side of the road to the western boundary of the Waipahi Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary to the southern boundary of Block X, Waipahi Survey District; thence easterly along that boundary to the middle of the Waipahi River; thence south-westerly up the middle of that river to
