The property is situated at Main Street in the Borough of Tawa and is located in a residential "A" zone.

The legal description of the land is as follows:

All that piece of land containing 2 roods 6.9 perches, more or less, being a portion of section 36 of the Porirua District and being situate in Block VII of the Belmont Survey District and being part Lot 24 on Deposited Plan 25621 and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume C3, folio 500 (Wellington Land Registry) limited as to parcels;

And further being the land delineated in red on the plan annexed hereto being bounded on the south-west by Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 21797, bounded on the west and north-west by the said Lot 24 on Deposited Plan 25621 and being bounded on the north-east by the Main Road.

The application may be examined at the office of the Tawa Borough Council during normal office hours and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing delivered to the Town Clerk, Tawa Borough Council, P.O. Box 2, Tawa, not later than 4 p.m. on the 1st day of April 1968.

Every objector shall state the grounds of the objections and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection.

CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD

SPECIAL AREA

Alteration of Boundary

IN the matter of the Christchurch District Drainage Act 1951 and in the matter of the special area known as the Sewer Extension Loan Special Area as defined by resolution of the Board dated the 17th day of April 1923 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 37, dated the 26th day of April 1923, and as from time to time altered under the provisions of section 5, Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act 1922, and section 60, Christchurch District Drainage Act 1951, by resolutions of the Christchurch Drainage Board and published in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to the powers vested in it by the Christchurch District Drainage Act 1951, the Christchurch Drainage Board, at a meeting held on the 27th day of February 1968, resolved that the boundary of the said special area hereinbefore described and defined be further altered so as to include in the said special area all those areas briefly described in the Schedules hereto and further resolved that the said areas shall form part of and be included in the subdivision "B" of the said special area and that the boundaries of said subdivision "B" be altered accordingly so as to include all those areas.

APPLICATION FOR WATER RACE

GORDON JOHN DUFFY, of Patearoa, farmer, hereby gives notice that he has applied to the Warden's Court at Cromwell under application No. 165/1967 for a water-race licence to lift 3 heads of water for irrigation and stockwater from the Taieri River at a point 120 yards north of the boundary between Section 1, Block IV, Gimmerburn District, and Section 12, Block II, Upper Taieri Survey District; thence in an easterly direction under the Patearoa Gimmerburn Road into Section 17, Block XIII, Maniototo Survey District; thence north for approximately 40 chains through said Section 17 and Section 18, Block XIII, and terminating in Section 19, Block XIII, Maniototo Survey District, the property of the applicant.

The application will be heard at the Warden's Court, Cromwell, at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, 2 April 1968, and all objections to the application must be filed in the said Court and notified to the applicant at least three clear days prior to the hearing.
