Tariff Notice No. 1967/92—Application for Withdrawal of Approval

NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made for withdrawal of the following approval of the Minister of Customs and for the future admission of the goods concerned at substantive rates of duty:

1132 65.05.09 Hoods, hats (other than beret shapes), knitted or crocheted, including hoods and hat shapes constructed by a simple linking or sewing operation from a piece of fabric knitted or crocheted to shape, but not further sewn, and not decorated or otherwise worked when declared by a manufacturer that they will be further processed and used in the manufacture of hats Free .. 20% 10.8

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of this application should do so in writing on or before 7 December 1967. Submissions should include a reference to the application number, Tariff item, and description of goods concerned, be addressed to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, and supported by information as to:

(a) The quality, range, supply, etc., of the above-described goods produced in New Zealand, and
(b) The landed cost and selling price, including c.d.v., and cost into store in terms of f.o.b., insurance, freight, exchange, other landing charges, duty, etc., of equivalent goods of overseas origin.

Tariff Notice No. 1967/93—Applications for Determination

NOTICE is hereby given that applications have been made for the determination of rates of duty by the Minister of Customs as follows:

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of these applications should do so in writing on or before 7 December 1967. Submissions should include reference to the application number, Tariff item, and description of goods concerned, be addressed to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, and supported by information as to:

(a) The quality, range, supply, etc., of the above-described goods produced in New Zealand; and

(a) The range of equivalent goods manufactured locally;
(b) The proportion of New Zealand and imported materials used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory cost in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.
