Land and Easements over Land Taken for a Television Trans-
mitter Station in Blocks VII and XI, Te Mata Survey
District

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 15 of the
Broadcasting Corporation Act 1961, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard
Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
First Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for a television trans-
mitter station and shall vest in the New Zealand Broadcasting
Corporation as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and that
easements for a television transmitter station are hereby taken
over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, vesting
in the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation, as from the
date hereinafter mentioned, the right to lay, construct, maintain,
and repair a roadway along and over the land described in
the said Second Schedule; the full, free, uninterrupted, and
unrestricted right, liberty, and privilege for the said Corpora-
tion, its servants, tenants, agents, workmen, licensees, and
invitees in common with the registered proprietors, their
tenants, and any other person lawfully entitled so to do, from
time to time and at all times by day and by night to go,
pass, and repass, with or without horses and domestic animals
of any kind or with or without carriages, vehicles, motor
vehicles, machinery, and implements of any kind, over and
along the land described in the said Second Schedule; the
full, free, and uninterrupted and unrestricted right, liberty,
and licence at all times to carry telephone and electric power
wires and cables, either by poles along the land described
in the said Second Schedule or by underground cables, along
or beneath the surface of the said land described in the said
Second Schedule hereto; such easements to be forever
appurtenant to the land described in the said First Schedule
hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 20th day of November 1967.

FIRST SCHEDULE

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block XI, Te Mata Survey
District, Hawke’s Bay R.D., described as follows:

4 2 4 Part Lot 4, Deeds Plan 713, being part Block 12,
Te Mata Crown Grant District; coloured orange
on plan.
5 0 3 Part Lot 5, Deeds Plan 713, being part Te Wharau
Block; coloured sepia on plan.
0 0 28.3 Part Lot 5, Deeds Plan 713, being part Kohinurakau
Block; coloured blue on plan.

SECOND SCHEDULE

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 26 acres 2 roods 27.9 perches
situated in Blocks VII and XI, Te Mata Survey District,
Hawke’s Bay R.D., and being part Lots 2 and 4, Deeds
Plan 713, being part Blocks 3, 4, 12, and 13, Te Mata Crown
Grant District; coloured yellow on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 21536 (S.O. 5706) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
17th day of October 1967.

Declaring Land Acquired for a Local Work to be Crown Land

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in
the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land
Act 1948, as from the 29th day of November 1967.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 26.6 perches situated in
the Borough of Thames being part Lot 2, D.P. S. 3203, part
Korokoro A and B Blocks. Balance certificate of title, Volume
1710, folio 61, South Auckland Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
17th day of October 1967.

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be
Subject to the Land Act 1948

RICHARD WILD, Administrator of the Government

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act
1949, I, the Right Honourable Sir Herbert Richard Churton
Wild, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand,
acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands
and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of
provisional State forest reserve, set apart by Proclamations
dated the 9th day of March 1925 and published in the Gazette,
12 March 1925, Volume I, page 719, is required for settlement
purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said
Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting
hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall
become Crown land, available for sale, lease, reservation, or
other disposition, under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—COROMANDEL COUNTY

PART Otama East Block situated in Block II, Otama Survey
District: Area, 16 acres, more or less. As shown on the plan
marked L. and S. 10/92/28B, deposited in the Head Office,
Lands and Survey Department at Wellington, and thereon
edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New
Zealand, this 7th day of November 1967.

Wanganui Education Board as a Site for a Public School,
to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

RICHARD WILD, Administrator of the Government

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949, I, the Right Honourable Sir Herbert Richard
Churton Wild, the Administrator of the Government of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wanganui
Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested
in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every
educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases,
encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the
date hereof.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—OROUA COUNTY

Lot 101, D.P. 217, being part Section 55, Subdivision C,
Manchester District, situated in Block III, Kairanga Survey
District: Area, 2 roods 39 perches, more or less. All certificate

Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wellington
Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested
in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every

date hereof.
