Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 4) 1967

PURSUANT to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 4) 1967.

(b) This notice shall come into force on the day after its notification in the Gazette.

  1. Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items specified in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirements of a licence under the said regulations.

  2. The exemption from the requirements of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the class set forth in the Second Schedule hereto included in the exempting notice shown in the Second Schedule is hereby withdrawn.

Notice Respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries of County of Hutt: City of Upper Hutt

It is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to the Governor-General, pursuant to section 12 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto be excluded from the County of Hutt and included in the City of Upper Hutt. All persons affected who object to the proposed alteration of boundaries are hereby called upon to lodge any objections to, or petitions against, the proposed alteration with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington, within one month from the date of publication of this notice.


SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District containing 464 acres, more or less, being portion of the County of Hutt bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 9256, and proceeding south-westerly along the right bank of the Hutt River to the eastern side of Moonshine Road; thence generally northerly along that side to and along the eastern boundary of Section 25 to the northern boundary of Section 26, Block XIII, Akatarawa S.D.; thence easterly along that boundary to the western side of Whakatiki Road; thence south-easterly along that side to the southern boundary of Section 26 aforesaid, along the production of that boundary to the north-eastern side of Whakatiki Road, and along that side to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 9256; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary, and south-easterly along the south-western boundary of the said Lot 1 to the point of commencement.

Special Order Made by Eureka Drainage Board Establishing Motumaho Subdivision and Altering Boundaries of Eureka Subdivision

PURSUANT to section 2 of the Land Drainage Amendment Act 1920, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby publishes the following special order made by the Eureka Drainage Board.

SPECIAL ORDER

THAT pursuant to section 16 of the Land Drainage Act 1908, the Eureka Drainage Board hereby resolves by way of special order to establish a new subdivision to be known as the Motumaho Subdivision to be defined as follows, and the Board hereby fixes the number of trustees to be elected for each subdivision at two, and the Board further hereby resolves that the boundaries of the Eureka Subdivision be altered by adding to the existing subdivision the area defined as follows:

FIRSTLY, all that area in the South Auckland Land District, Piako and Waikato Counties, bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of the balance of the land shown on D.P. 2715, and contained in the balance of certificate of title, Volume 860, folio 266, situated in Block XII, Komakorau Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the Taupiri Drainage and River District, described in N.Z. Gazette, 1957, page 1418, and proceeding north-westerly along the south-western boundary of that above-mentioned land, to and generally northerly along the generally eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 36295, to and south-easterly and generally north-easterly along the south-western and generally south-eastern boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. S. 3170, to and easterly along the northern boundary of the aforesaid Block XII, to and north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 5, D.P. S. 3170, and its production across Piako Road to the southern boundary of part Lot 2, D.P.
