  1. The boundaries of the Hanmer Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 14th day of September 1949*, are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF THE HANMER RABBIT DISTRICT

ALL that area in the County of Amuri, Canterbury Land District, containing 374,000 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Lewis Pass on the summit of the Spenser Mountains and proceeding north-easterly generally along the summit of the Spenser Mountains to an unnamed peak marked 6059' in Block II, Humboldt Survey District; thence south-easterly along a right line through Trig. M.O., Block IV, Maling Survey District, to the shore of Lake Tennyson; thence southerly generally along the western shore of that lake to and along the middle of the Clarence River to a point opposite the junction of the private road over Jacks Pass with the road to St. James Station; thence southerly generally to and along the said private road to Jacks Pass; thence easterly along the southern boundary of part Run 17A (Amuri), across Boundary Stream to the western boundary of Run 279 (The Hossack); thence northerly along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Clarence River; thence easterly along the middle of that river to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Run 279 aforesaid; thence south-westerly and westerly generally along the south-eastern and southern boundaries of that run to the left bank of the Hanmer River; thence westerly generally along that bank to the confluence of the Hanmer and Waiau Rivers; thence due west to the middle of the Waiau River; thence westerly and northerly generally along the middle of the Waiau, Hope, Boyle, and Lewis Rivers to Lewis Pass, the point of commencement.

Abolition of the Kiwitahi Rabbit District (Notice No. Ag. 10145)

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Kiwitahi Rabbit District Order 1967.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The Kiwitahi Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 10th day of April 1933* is hereby abolished.

Declaring Road in the City of Auckland to be Under the Control and Management of the Auckland City Council

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be under the control and management of Auckland City Council.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that portion of road situated in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District, City of Auckland, North Auckland R.D., commencing at the north-western corner of Allotment 280, Section 16, Suburbs of Auckland, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 7 chains

and terminating at its intersection with Bell Road; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 21660 (S.O. 45098) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A-B.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby (a) declares the pieces of road described in the First and Second Schedules hereto to be Government road, and (b) stops the said road.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of road containing 1 acre and 18.1 perches situated in Block IX, Hautapu Survey District, Wellington R.D., adjoining or passing through part Pouwhakarua 1d.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 21109 (S.O. 26610) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

PURSUANT to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the district valuation rolls for the districts enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at 1 November 1967.
