Declaring an Area in the Auckland Acclimatisation District
to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area in the Schedule hereto to be a Wildlife Refuge in the Auckland Acclimatisation District for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICTβ€”THAMES COUNTY

PART Wharekawa East No. 2 Block, situated in Block VIII, Tairua Survey District: Area, 16 acres 2 roods, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 9, folio 17 (M.L. 2971).

As the same is more particularly shown on a plan marked I.A. 46/29/442 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of October 1967.

Land Taken for Road in Block VIII, Mahurangi Survey District, Rodney County

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road, and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 23rd day of October 1967.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block VIII, Mahurangi Survey District, North Auckland R.D., described as follows:

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 21464 (S.O. 44180) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 13 perches situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, City of Auckland, North Auckland R.D., and being Lot 88, Deeds Plan 473. All certificate of title, Volume 521, folio 49 (limited as to parcels), North Auckland Land Registry.

Defining the Middle Line of a Further Portion of the Hamilton Eastern By-pass Motorway in Blocks XIII and XIV, Komakorau Survey District, City of Hamilton and County of Waikato

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a further portion of the Hamilton Eastern By-pass Motorway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only the lands situated within the limits of the area shown coloured red on the plan marked M.O.W. 21479 (S.O. 44133, 2 sheets) referred to in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

COMMENCING at a point on the north-eastern side of Te Rapa Road approximately 19.5 chains north-west of the Pukete Road - Te Rapa Road intersection, and proceeding easterly generally for a distance of approximately 3.75 miles passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, namely, Allotment 354, Pukete Parish (C.T. 2A/705), part Allotment 22, Pukete Parish (C.T. 560/203), part Allotment 26A, Pukete
