“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £707,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts, for redeeming the unpaid balances of various loans raised by the former Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board in connection with its drainage and sewerage undertaking which liabilities were taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in terms of section 43 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963 plus the costs of raising such loan; the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall at the lender’s option be for periods of six, 10, or 20 years from 10 July 1966, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

COUNTY OF MANAWATU

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1967, $100,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manawatu County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000), authorised to be raised by the Manawatu County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Manawatu County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought six eight five cents in the dollar (.0685c) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Manawatu, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Supplementary Loan 1967, $80,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whangarei County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $80,000, authorised to be raised by the Whangarei County Council under the above-named Act, for the purposes of completing the purpose for which the Water Supply Loan 1965, $800,000 was sanctioned, the said Whangarei County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0004 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Whangarei, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NGARUAWAHIA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewerage Loan 1967, $280,000

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Ngaruawahia Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $280,000, authorised to be raised by the Ngaruawahia Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of installing a sewage disposal system for the borough, the said Ngaruawahia Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of two decimal one five cents (2.15c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of the rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Ngaruawahia; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

COUNTY OF KAIKOURA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1967, $4,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaikoura County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of four thousand dollars ($4,000), authorised to be raised by the Kaikoura County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making an advance to a farmer pursuant to the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Kaikoura County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal 0034 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all the rateable property comprised in the whole of the County of Kaikoura, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wellington City Karori Cemetery (Crematorium) Supplementary Loan 1967 of $3,700

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the second day of October 1967:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of three thousand seven hundred dollars ($3,700), to be known as the Wellington City Karori Cemetery (Crematorium) Supplementary Loan 1967 of $3,700, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Karori Cemetery (Crematorium) Loan 1966, $37,000 was sanctioned, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought five cents (.0005c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by John Wilford James Townsend, of Piriaka, for consent to the erection of a dwelling house and small factory for the manufacture of pickles on a block of land at Piriaka.

The land is a triangular section containing 1 acre 3 roods and 4 perches, more or less, and is situated on the northern side of the State Highway at Piriaka, approximately opposite the Piriaka Post Office and Store.

The legal description of land is Section 35, Block V, Huna Survey District.
