Board Appointed to Have Control of Makarewa Domain Board
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints
Douglas William Robert Blackler,
David Graham Boniface,
Percy James Brown, the younger,
Stuart Thomson Dunlop,
Edwin Skene Jenkins,
David William Keeler,
Cecil Kaseby Lapthorne,
Raymond Anthony O'Brien, and
Herbert Alfred Phillips
to be the Makarewa Domain Board to have control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto subject to the provisions of the said Act as a Domain.

Southland Land Districtโ€”Makarewa Domainโ€”Southland County
Sections 16, 17, and 18, Block III, Town of Makarewa: Area, 12 acres 1 rood 5 perches, more or less (S.O. Plan 1321).

Pursuant to section 18 of the National Parks Act 1952, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints
The Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Southland Land District, ex officio;
Sydney Russell Allen;
Geoffrey Thomas Sandford Baylis;
Clifford Maurice Broad;
John Harvey McKenzie;
John Keith Skinner;
Lindsay Rutherford Stewart; and
John Anthony Roy Walker
to be the Fiordland National Park Board having the control and management of the Fiordland National Park, the members of such Board to hold office for a term of three years from the date hereof.

Remembrance Day 1967
CITIZENS and traffic control authorities throughout New Zealand are requested to observe Remembrance Day on Sunday, 12 November 1967.
The observance of this day should be similar to that of Remembrance Day last year. Two minutes' silence should be observed from 11 a.m., and all vehicular traffic should halt during that period.
The Government trusts that churches will agree to arrange, as far as practicable, for a morning service on this day to commence at such time as to enable two minutes' silence to be observed at 11 o'clock.
Where a citizens' memorial service is held, it is suggested that it should be at the local cenotaph or war memorial.

Officer Authorised to Take and Receive Statutory Declarations
Pursuant to section 9 of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to authorise the officer in the service of the Crown being the holder for the time being of the office of Postmaster, Te Atatu South, to take and receive statutory declarations under the said Act.

Revocation of Appointment of Officer Authorised to Take and Receive Statutory Declarations
Pursuant to section 9 of the Oaths and Declaration Act 1957, His Excellency the Governor-General has revoked the appointment of James Edward Cross, Port Agriculture Officer, Auckland, an officer in the service of the Crown, as an officer authorised to take and receive statutory declarations under the said Act.

Notice Respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries of County of Hutt and Borough of Tawa
It is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, pursuant to section 12 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto be excluded from the County of Hutt and included in the Borough of Tawa. All persons affected, who object to the proposed alteration of boundaries, are hereby called upon to lodge any objections to, or petitions against, the proposed alteration with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington, within one month from the date of publication of this notice.
SCHEDULE
All that area in the Wellington Land District containing 123 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 26570, and proceeding westerly along the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 14769, northerly along the western boundaries of Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, D.P. 14769, and Sections 45 and 47, Porirua District, and easterly along the northern boundary of the said Section 47 to the boundary of the Borough of Tawa as described in Gazette, 1958, page 1042, and Gazette, 1961, page 323; thence generally southerly along the borough boundary to the point of commencement.

It is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, pursuant to section 12 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto be excluded from the County of Hutt and included in the City of Upper Hutt. All persons affected who object to the proposed alteration of boundaries are hereby called upon to lodge any objections to, or petitions against, the proposed alteration with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington, within one month from the date of publication of this notice.
SCHEDULE
All that area in the Wellington Land District containing 868 acres, more or less, being portion of the County of Hutt, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost point of Section 120, Hutt District, as shown on plan A/2350, and proceeding north-westerly along a right line to the eastern-most corner of part Section 189, Hutt District, containing 61 acres, as shown on S.O. Plan 25694; thence generally westerly along the generally northern boundaries of the said part Section 189, the area containing 1 acre and 16 perches, part Section 213, Hutt District, containing 1 acre 2 roods 20 perches, part Section 20, Block XIII, Akatarawa S.D., containing 1 rood 28 perches, part Section 21, Block XIII, Akatarawa S.D., containing 3 acres 3 roods 30 perches (all as shown on S.O. Plan 25393), the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the western side of Whakatiki Road, along that side to and along the south-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 9256, the land on D.P. 9627, and again, Lot 1, D.P. 9256, to the southernmost corner of that lot; thence generally northerly along the south-western and north-western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 9256, the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the north-eastern side of Whakatiki Road, and along that side to the northern boundary of Section 21, Block XIII, Akatarawa S.D.; thence generally easterly along the northern and western boundaries of Section 21 and the western and northern boundaries of Section 19, Block XIII, Akatarawa S.D., to the north-eastern corner of the said Section 19; thence generally south-easterly along the generally eastern boundary of the said Section 19 and its production to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Section 20, Block XIII, Akatarawa S.D., and Sections 213, 189, and 806, Hutt District, to the easternmost corner of the said Section 806; thence generally south-westerly along the eastern and southern boundaries of the said Section 806 to the point of commencement.
