NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CEASE TO HAVE A PLACE OF BUSINESS IN NEW ZEALAND

PURSUANT to section 405 of the Companies Act 1955, notice is hereby given that Zig Zag (New Zealand) Pty. Ltd., a company duly incorporated in the State of Victoria, Australia, and having a place of business for New Zealand, at Oak Park Avenue, Wellington C. 2, intends on the expiration of three months to cease to have a place of business in New Zealand.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO THE SUPREME COURT FOR APPROVAL OF A SCHEME FOR VARYING CERTAIN OF THE TRUSTS OF THE WILL OF THE ABOVE NAMED MARTHA MARY BLACKMORE

TAKE NOTICE that we, the undersigned, being the trustees of the estate of Matha Mary Blackmore, late of Palmerston North, widow, deceased, have applied to the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Palmerston North, for approval of a scheme whereby the property, money, and assets set forth in the Schedule hereunder being the property, money, and assets referred to in clause 5 of the will dated the 18th day of July 1961 of the above-named deceased, as modified by a first codicil thereto dated the 22nd day of October 1962, shall be transferred to the New Zealand Red Cross Society (Incorporated) upon the terms and conditions set forth in the said scheme.

The scheme provides that:

(1) The said property, money, and assets shall be transferred, paid, and assigned to the New Zealand Red Cross Society (Incorporated) to be held by it upon the trusts of and pursuant to the provisions of a draft trust deed to be executed, a copy of which has been lodged in the Supreme Court at Palmerston North as part of our said application.

(2) That we the trustees of the will shall not after transfer and assignment of the said property, money, and assets, be further concerned as to such property, money, and assets, or the implementation of the terms of the said draft trust deed.

(3) That the costs of us as trustees of the will, the Attorney-General, and the said society, of and incidental to the scheme, shall be paid out of the moneys referred to in clause 5 of the said will (as modified) and more particularly set forth in the Schedule hereto.

The said application will be heard and determined in the Supreme Court at Palmerston North, at 10 a.m., on Friday, the 1st day of December 1967. Any person desiring to oppose the scheme is required to give written notice of his intention to do so, to the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Palmerston North, to the Trustees, and to the Attorney-General, not less than seven days before that date.

The application, scheme, and the statutory report of the Attorney-General, are open for inspection by the public at the Registry of the Supreme Court at Palmerston North, during office hours without any fee or charge.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situated in the City of Palmerston North, containing three roods eight perches (3 r. 8 p.), more or less, comprising Lots 7 and 8 and part Lot 6, Deposited Plan No. 1317, being the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 243, folio 219 (Wellington Registry).

Chattels: Carpet, electric radiator, couch, easy chair, and four oak tapestry dining chairs.

Money: The sum of £3,000 ($6,000) in cash.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP

In the matter of section 39 of the Partnership Act 1908, and in the matter of the partnership of John Raymond Foley and Robert Sammuel Marshall, trading as Foley and Marshall, Tokoroa Slot Car Centre, Tokoroa, Checker Raceways, Mount Maunganui.

As from the 29th day of September 1967, the partnership has been dissolved; from this date John Raymond Foley will not be liable for any liabilities incurred by the business trading under the above name.
