Revocation of Appointment of Bridal Veil Falls Scenic Reserve Board

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the appointment of the Bridal Veil Falls Scenic Reserve Board as published in Gazette, 1957, page 1192.

PART Section 1, Block X, Kariori Survey District: Area, 537 acres 3 roods 35 perches, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 4/1077 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red (S.O. Plan 26044).

Appointment of Deputy Member of the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board

Pursuant to section 39 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, the Minister of Justice has been pleased to appoint Ewart Somers, Esquire, of Christchurch, to be the Deputy of Edgar Whittleston, Esquire, a member of the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board for a period of three months commencing on the 25th day of September 1967, at any meeting of the Board whilst the said member is absent from the meeting.

Consent to the Importation of Seed Wheat

Pursuant to an Order in Council made on the 11th day of March 1936, and published in the Gazette on the 12th day of March 1936, at page 462, prohibiting the importation of wheat, and wheat preparations, the Minister of Customs consents to the importation of seed wheat imported for the purpose of sowing, subject to the importer making a declaration under the Customs Act 1966, that it will be used solely for that purpose.

Fees Payable for Certificate of Health or Freedom From Disease in Respect of the Export of Stock, Poultry, Fish, Etc.—(Notice No. Ag. 10126)

It is hereby notified for public information that, on and after the day of this notice appearing in the Gazette, there shall be payable on the issue of certificates of health or freedom from disease in respect of the export of the several classes of stock, poultry, fish, etc., mentioned in the Schedule hereto, the respective fees set opposite each class of stock or other goods in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE

Class of Stock or Other Fee for Export Certificate Goods

Horses .... For one animal $4; for each animal after the first, where not more than four additional animals are examined at the same time and place and on behalf of the same person, whether the owner or not, $2; for each animal after the fifth, examined at the same time and place and on behalf of the same person, whether the owner or not, $1; with a maximum fee for any one certificate of $20.

Cattle for breeding purposes For one animal $4; for each animal after the first, where not more than 19 additional animals are examined at the same time and place on behalf of the same person, whether the owner or not, $2; for each additional animal after the twentieth, examined at the same time and place and on behalf of the same person, whether the owner or not, 45c.

Cattle for slaughter for food purposes For each animal not exceeding 10, examined at the same time and place and on behalf of the same person, whether the owner or not, 90c, with a maximum fee of $2.50; for each animal after the tenth, examined at the same time and place and on behalf of the same person, whether the owner or not, 45c, with a maximum fee for any one certificate of $9.

Swine for breeding purposes For one animal $2; for each animal after the first, examined at the same time and place and on behalf of the same person, whether the owner or not, 45c.

Swine for slaughter for food purposes For each animal not exceeding 10, examined at the same time and place and on behalf of the same person, whether the owner or not, 22c, with a maximum fee of $1.35; for each animal after the tenth, examined at the same time and place and on behalf of the same person, whether the owner or not, 15c, with a maximum fee for any one certificate of $4.50.

Sheep and goats for breeding purposes For one animal $2; for each animal after the first, where not more than four additional animals are examined at the same time and place and on behalf of the same person, whether the owner or not, 45c; for each additional animal after the fifth, examined at the same time and place and on behalf of the same person, whether the owner or not, 22c, with a maximum fee for any one certificate of $20.

Sheep and goats for slaughter for food purposes For each animal not exceeding 10, examined at the same time and place and on behalf of the same person, whether the owner or not, 22c, with a maximum fee of $1.35; for each additional animal after the tenth, examined at the same time and place and on behalf of the same person, whether the owner or not, 15c, with a maximum fee for any one certificate of $4.50.

Dogs, cats, rabbits, For each original certificate $1. poultry and other birds Hides, skins and wool .......

(a) For each original certificate covering whole consignment, 25c.
(b) When separate certificates are required for each package, cask, or parcel included in any one consignment, a fee of 25c shall be payable for each 10 or portion of 10 such certificates.
