conditional use of the under-mentioned property for a timber
yard and depot. The property measures approximately 3½
chains by 2½ chains, and is on the north-west corner of
the Winton-Otatau State Highway and the Winton sub-
station road (which is the first road crossing the State
Highway east of the Oreti River Bridge), and is located in
the rural zone of the Southland County Council. The legal
description of the land of which the property forms part, is
all that piece of land containing 199 acres 0 roods 4 poles,
more or less, being part Section 23 and part Section 1, and
closed road, Block IV, Winton Hundred, and being the balance
of the land comprised and described in certificate of title,
Volume 155, folio 257, Southland Registry. The application
may be examined at the office of the Southland County
Council, Clyde Street, Invercargill, during normal office hours,
and any person or body affected may object to the applica-
tion by notice in writing delivered to the County Clerk,
Southland County Council, P.O. Box 903, Invercargill, not
later than 4 p.m., on Friday, the 20th day of October 1967.
Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and
whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in
support of his objection.

TAIHAPE BOROUGH COUNCIL
SPECIAL ORDER
SPECIAL order made by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens
of the Borough of Taihape, by resolution passed at a special
meeting held on the 21st day of August 1967, and confirmed
at a subsequent meeting held on the 18th day of September
1967.
That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 53
of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Taihape Borough
Council resolves by way of special order as follows:
“1. In lieu of seven members, exclusive of the Mayor, the
said Taihape Borough Council shall consist of nine members,
exclusive of the Mayor.
“2. The alteration hereby made in the numbers of the said
Council shall take effect at the general election of Councillors
to be held in the month of October 1968, except in so far
and to such extent as may be necessary providing for that
election.”
Dated at Taihape this 18th day of September 1967.
In witness whereof the Common Seal of the Mayor,
Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Taihape
was affixed in the presence of:

Lost Stock Certificate
APPLICATION has been made to the above company to issue a new
certificate of title in lieu of original certificate No. 9344, issued
in the names of William Stanley Wheeler, John Wardell
Pearce, and James Walter Grace, care of P.O. Box 1990,
Wellington, and the said William Stanley Wheeler, John
Wardell Pearce, and James Walter Grace, have made a
statutory declaration that the original certificate to the said
stock has been lost.
Notice is hereby given that unless within 30 days from the
date hereof there is made to the company some claim or
representation in respect of the said original certificate, a new
certificate will be issued in place thereof.

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of
general legislative force are no longer published in the New
Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of
the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing)
subscription $6 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
$5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and
1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
