NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
——
NOTICE is hereby given that the Hawke’s Bay County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, to realign portion of Maraetotara Road, and for the purposes of, or in connection with such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Hawke’s Bay County Council, situate in Browning Street, Napier, and is open for inspection, with fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land should, if they have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Hawke’s Bay County Council at its office aforesaid, and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Electricity Renewal Loan 1967, $36,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $36,000, authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Electricity Loan 1952, which matures on the 22nd day of October 1967, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of thirteen-thousandths of a cent (0.013c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of five (5) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hamilton City Council held on the 13th day of September 1967.

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Fairfield and Enderley Sewer and Water Renewal Loan 1967, $28,200

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $28,200, authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Fairfield and Enderley Sewer and Water Loan 1951, which matures on the 22nd day of October 1967, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of six-thousandths of a cent (0.006c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hamilton City Council held on the 13th day of September 1967.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Reserves Loan 1964, $120,000—Third Instalment of $32,000

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby resolve as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of thirty-two thousand dollars ($32,000), authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting dressing sheds and conveniences, developing reserves, and making improvements to the crematorium and its equipment, the said Palmerston North City Council hereby makes a special rate of eighty-eight ten thousandths of a cent (0.0088c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the City of Palmerston North, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Palmerston North City Council on the 18th day of September 1967.

Primary Sewage Treatment Plant Staff Housing Loan 1967, $30,000

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby resolve as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000), authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting staff houses or purchasing land and existing houses for staff use, the said Palmerston North City Council hereby makes a special rate of eighty-two ten-thousandths of a cent (0.0082c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the City of Palmerston North, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAIHI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Improvement Loan 1967, $67,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waihi Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $67,000, to be known as the Water Supply Improvement Loan 1967, authorised to be raised by the Waihi Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of improving the Waihi water supply, the said Waihi Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal seven five cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Waihi, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
