Notice Respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries of City of Manukau and Borough of Papakura

It is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, pursuant to section 12 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto be excluded from the City of Manukau and included in the Borough of Papakura. All persons who object to the proposed alteration of boundaries are hereby called upon to lodge any objections to, or petitions against, the proposed alterations with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington, within one month from the date of publication of this notice.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District containing 28 acres approximately, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection, in Block XV, Otahuhu Survey District, of the southern side of Clevedon Road and the western side of Dominion Road, and proceeding southerly along that western side to and south-westerly and then north-westerly along the boundary of Papakura Borough as described in N.Z. Gazette 1938, page 470, to and easterly along the southern side of Clevedon Road, to the point of commencement.
