Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Peninsula County Council

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Peninsula, in trust, for that purpose.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—PENINSULA COUNTY

LOT 9, Deposited Plan 7514, being part Section 16, Block VII, Portobello Survey District: Area, 34.8 perches, more or less.

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for plantation purposes and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ellesmere, in trust, for plantation purposes.

Notice is hereby given that the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto has been acquired, under the Forests Act 1949, as permanent State forest land.

SECTIONS 16, 18, 19, 20, 1 of 21, 2 of 21, 22, 23, 59, 90, and 91 and part Section 60, Block I, Waikouaiti Survey District: Area, 614 acres 3 roods and 9 perches, more or less. Certificate of title, Volume 389, folio 3 (S.O. Plan 1852). As shown on plan numbered S 155/2, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

SECOND SCHEDULE

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY—WAIKOUAITI COUNTY

The Road Classification (State Highways) Notice 1967

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955*, the Commissioner of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (State Highways) Notice 1967.

  2. It is hereby declared, as required by the National Roads Board, that the State Highway as set out in the Schedule hereto shall belong to the class set out in the said Schedule.

  3. So much of the Warrant dated the 8th day of June 1965† as relates to the classification of the State Highway described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne):

From Nuhaka to Tahaenui Road.

Rakautatahi Development Scheme Amending Notice 1967, No. 1

WHEREAS, by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule hereto, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is now subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, and it is desired to vary same:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Rakautatahi Development Scheme Amending Notice 1967, No. 1.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
