NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hawke’s Bay County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the realigning of portion of the Taihape Road, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the First Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the Hawke’s Bay County Council proposes to close the road described in the Second Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken, and a plan of the road proposed to be closed, is deposited in the public office of the Hawke’s Bay County Council, Browning Street, Napier, and is open for inspection without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land or by the proposed closing of road, if they have any objection to the execution of the said public work, or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, or any objections to the proposed closing of the road should set forth the same in writing, and send the written objection on or before the 2nd day of October 1967 (being a date 40
