  1. For the purpose of taking evidence on this subject the Board will hold a Public Inquiry commencing on Monday, 6 November 1967, at 10.30 a.m., in the Board Room, First Floor, N.Z. Law Society Building, 26 Waring Taylor Street, Wellington.

  2. Any person who intends to tender evidence should comply with the “Notes for Guidance of Witnesses”, which have been prepared by the Board. A copy of these notes may be obtained from the under-named

  3. Twelve copies of a typewritten statement of the evidence to be tendered compiled in accordance with these notes, should be lodged with the under-named not later than Monday, 23 October 1967. Each statement will need to be presented under oath at the Public Inquiry by the person tendering it.

Law Practitioners Act 1955

PURSUANT to the Law Practitioners Act 1955, notice is hereby given that the Disciplinary Committee of the New Zealand Law Society, on 7 July 1967, ordered that the name of Graham Harold Walsham, be struck off the rolls of barristers and solicitors of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, and that he pay the sum of eighty dollars ($80) costs to the New Zealand Law Society.

Reserve Bank of New Zealand

PURSUANT to section 33 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964, the Reserve Bank, acting with the approval of the Minister of Finance, hereby gives notice that, as at the close of business on 23 August 1967, and until further notice, balances to be maintained in the Reserve Bank by each trading bank shall be equal to an amount which, when added to that bank’s holdings of Reserve Bank notes, as disclosed in that bank’s monthly return as at the close of business on 28 June 1967, furnished in accordance with section 31 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964, will be not less than the aggregate of: 11 percent of that bank’s demand deposits in New Zealand, plus 3 percent of that bank’s time deposits in New Zealand, as shown in the monthly return as at the close of business on 28 June 1967, furnished by that bank in accordance with section 31 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964.
