The Traffic (Christchurch City) Notice 1967
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Christchurch City) Notice 1967.
- The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
- The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be a 40-mile speed limit area for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Christchurch City:
Humphreys Drive (from a point 20 chains measured north-westerly generally along the said drive from the Ferrymead Bridge to Linwood Avenue).
Linwood Avenue (from Humphreys Drive to a point 10 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said Avenue from Hargood Street).
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Christchurch City:

Closely Populated Locality Revoked and 40 Miles an Hour Speed-Limit Area Declared
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:
- So much of the Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, dated the 23rd day of February 1967* as relates to the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) at Tokoroa Township in Matamata County, is hereby revoked.
- The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40 Miles an Hour Speed-Limit Area for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956†.

Roads Excluded from Speed Limitation and 40 Miles an Hour Speed-Limit Area Declared
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:
- The Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956* dated the 10th day of January 1967†, which relates to Hamilton City is hereby revoked.
- The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
- The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
- The roads specified in the Third Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40 miles an hour speed-limit areas for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from the north-western boundary of Hamilton City to Vardon Road) (from Mangaonua Stream to Riverlea Road) (from a point 3 chains measured southerly generally along the said highway from Anglesea Street to a point 5 chains measured westerly generally along the said highway from Callard Crescent).
No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) (from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 3 chains measured northerly generally along the said highway from Lorne Street) (from the southern boundary of Hamilton City to a point 5 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said highway from Tomin Road).
