A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS on the 25th day of October 1966 the General Assembly of New Zealand was summoned to a meeting on the 26th day of January 1967: And whereas for certain causes and consideration I have thought fit to prorogue it:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the New Zealand Constitution Act 1852, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby prorogue the General Assembly until Thursday, the 30th day of March 1967, and summon it to meet at 2.30 p.m. on that day in the Parliament House in the City of Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 3rd day of February 1967.
