Revoking a Proclamation Declaring an Area in the Otago Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke that part of the proclamation issued on the 11th day of May 1957*, declaring the area of land in the Otago Acclimatisation District, described in the Schedule hereto, to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953.

SCHEDULE

THAT portion of the Taieri River and shingle banks between a line at right angles to the said river and passing through the northern extremity of the eastern boundary of Section 5, Block XIV, Maniatoto Survey District, and the production of the the eastern boundary of Section 6, Block XV, Maniatoto Survey District, including the road reserves along both banks of the said part of the said river and shingle banks; also Section 26, Block XIV, Maniatoto Survey District, and that portion of Section 6, Block XIV, lying between a production of the western boundary of Section 26 and the Taieri River. As the same is more particularly shown on plan marked I.A. 52/345 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 28th day of July 1967.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road from and after the 7th day of August 1967.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 20.7 perches, situated in Block VI, Waiheke Survey District, North Auckland R.D., and being part Allotment 38, Parish of Waiheke; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 21497 (S.O. 45534) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 28th day of July 1967.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 7th day of August 1967.
