The Standards Act 1965—Amendment of Standard Specifications
Pursuant to the provisions of the Standards Act 1965, the Standards Council, on 12 June 1967, amended the undermentioned standard specifications by the incorporation of the amendments shown hereunder:

Application for copies of the standard specifications so amended should be made to the Standards Association of New Zealand, Private Bag, Wellington C. 1.
Copies of the amendments will be supplied, free of charge, upon request, except Amendment No. 5 (PD 5786) to NZSS 1922:Parts 1 and 2:1964 which is priced at 2s.

Wakatipu Rabbit District Divided into Wards (Notice No. Ag. 10088)
Pursuant to section 14A of the Rabbits Act 1955, the Wakatipu Rabbit Board hereby declares the Wakatipu Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 1st day of May 1967*, to be divided into wards having the names and boundaries specified in the Schedule hereto:
SCHEDULE
KAWARAU WARD
All that area in the Otago Land District, Lake and Vincent Counties, containing 126,800 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point in line with the western boundary of Run 726, Kawarau Survey District, in the middle of the Kawarau River, and proceeding generally westerly up the middle of that river to the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu; thence generally westerly along the southern shore of Frankton Arm, and generally south-easterly and southerly along the north-eastern and eastern shores of Lake Wakatipu to Staircase Creek; thence generally north-easterly to and along the south-eastern boundary of Run 331 to Ben Nevis; thence generally southerly along the western boundary of Run 345A to James Peak; thence generally easterly along the northern boundary of Run 354A and the production of that boundary to the middle of the Nevis River; thence generally northerly down the middle of the Nevis River and its production to the middle of the Kawarau River; thence generally up the middle of that river to the point of commencement.
LAKE WAKATIPU WARD
All that area in the Otago Land District, Lake County and Queenstown and Arrowtown Boroughs, containing 57,500 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station F.F. on the south-eastern boundary of Block IV, Crown Survey District, and proceeding south-westerly and generally northerly along the south-eastern and western boundaries of Crown Survey District as hereinbefore described, to the south-western corner of Section 75, Block XX, Shotover Survey District, and south-easterly along the south-western boundary of that section and its production to the south-eastern side of Suburb Street, Town of Queenstown; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern side of Suburb Street and its production to a point on the northern shore of the Frankton Arm, Lake Wakatipu; thence generally north-easterly and south-easterly along the north-western and north-eastern shores of the Frankton Arm to the middle of the Kawarau River; thence generally easterly down the middle of the Kawarau River to a point in line with the western boundary of Run 726, Kawarau Survey District; thence generally northerly to and along the western boundary of Run 726, to the point of commencement.

Land Surveyors' Examination, August-September 1967—Australia and New Zealand
It is hereby notified for general information, that the Survey Board, in conjunction with the Australian Surveyors’ Boards, will conduct an examination of candidates for registration as surveyors, commencing at 9 a.m., on Monday, 14 August 1967.
Candidates are notified that their applications, on the proper form, must reach the Secretary of the Board, not later than Friday, 14 July 1967, and that the examination fee must be paid at the same time to the Secretary, from whom application forms and other particulars may be obtained.
Candidates presenting themselves for examination in any written subject or subjects, may present themselves for examination at any Chief Surveyor’s Office, or at the office of the District Surveyor, at Rotorua or Whangarei.
Candidates for the oral and practical portion of the examination must sit in Wellington. Applications, on the proper form, must reach the Secretary of the Board not later than Friday, 25 August 1967. Plans for this portion of the examination, the certificate, and other evidence required by regulation No. 24 of the Survey Examination Regulations 1962, must be forwarded not later than Friday, 15 September 1967.
