NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a petition for the winding-up of
the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the
16th day of December 1966, presented to the said Court by
SPEDDING LIMITED, a duly-incorporated company having its
registered office at Auckland and carrying on business as
manufacturers and merchants;
AND that the said petition is directed to be heard before

NOTICE OF REDUCTION OF CAPITAL

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of
Semco (New Zealand) Ltd., a company duly incorporated
in New Zealand, and having its registered office in the
City of Wellington:
Notice is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court
of New Zealand, dated the 9th day of December 1966, con-
firiming the reduction of capital of the above-named company
from £10,000 to £5,000, and the minute approved by the
Court, showing, with respect to the capital of the company
as altered, the several particulars required by the above-
mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies
on the 18th day of January 1967. The said minute is in the
words and figures following:
"The capital of Semco (New Zealand) Ltd. is £5,000,
divided into 10,000 shares of 10s. each, having been reduced
from £10,000, divided into 10,000 shares of £1 each, fully
paid".

WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Avonhead Riding Works Loan 1966-£11,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of
the Waimairi County Council held on 19 January 1967.
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £11,000, authorised to be raised by the Waimairi
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of formation and reconstruction of carriageways,
footpaths, and kerbing and channelling within the Avonhead
Riding of the Waimairi County, the Waimairi County Council
hereby makes a special rate of 0.0348d. (pence) in the £
(pound) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in
the Avonhead Riding; and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring charge during the currency of the loan, and
be payable yearly, on the 1st day of April in each year and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
