Revoking a Proclamation Declaring an Area in the Southern
Lakes Acclimatisation District to be a Wild Life Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Brigadier
Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby revoke that part of the proclamation issued
on the 13th day of February 1957* declaring the area of land
in the Southern Lakes Acclimatisation District, described in the
Schedule hereto, to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the
Wildlife Act 1953.

SCHEDULE

THE pond situated approximately 15 chains north of the
homestead in Run 236U, Block XV, Tarras Survey District,
S.O. Plan 1197.

As the same is more particularly shown on plan marked
I.A. 52/357 deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
20th day of January 1967.

Enjoyment of a Road, in Block VII, Patetere North Survey
District, Matamata County

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road, and the
land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 30th day of January 1967.

FIRST SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Road

ALL that piece of land containing 2 acres 1 rood 35.3 perches,
being part Lot 6, D.P. 23884, and being part Whakaaratamaiti
No. 2A Block, and part Lot 2 of Section 105 of Block VII,
Patetere North Survey District; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 20840 (S.O. 41140)
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.
and thereon coloured yellow.

SECOND SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Road

ALL that piece of land containing 1.1 perches, being part Lot
6, D.P. 23884, and being part Whakaaratamaiti No. 2A Block,
and part Lot 2 of Section 105 of Block VII, Patetere North
Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked M.O.W. 20840 (S.O. 41140) deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
29th day of November 1966.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 30th day of January 1967.

SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 38.7 perches situated
in Block IX, Patetere North Survey District, being part
Mangakaretu 2B and part Mangakaretu 1E 2A Blocks; as the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
M.O.W. 20841 (S.O. 43041) deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
29th day of November 1966.
