At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 17th day of April 1967
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. J. R. MARSHALL, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to sections 50 and 51 of the Education Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Northcote College Board of Governors Order 1967.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1967.
  2. The Board of Governors of Northcote College shall be constituted as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education Board;
    (b) Seven members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school;
    (c) One member appointed by the Birkenhead Borough Council;
    (d) One member appointed by the Northcote Borough Council;
    (e) One member appointed by the Council of the University of Auckland.
  3. The Northcote College Board of Governors Order 1953 is hereby revoked.

    PURSUANT to section 50 of the Education Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
    ORDER
  4. This order may be cited as the Horowhenua College Board of Governors Order 1966, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with, and deemed part of, the Horowhenua College Board of Governors Order 1966* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).
  5. Clause 2 of the principal order is hereby amended by omitting from paragraph (b) the words "Shannon State primary school", and substituting the words "Fairfield State primary school".
  6. Clause 2 of the principal order is hereby further amended by omitting from paragraph (d) the word "elected" and substituting the word "appointed".

    Lieutenant (temp. Captain) P. B. A. Williams relinquishes the temp. rank of Captain and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Regimental List, 16th Field Regiment, RNZA, in the rank of Lieutenant with seniority from 2 September 1962. Dated 1 March 1967.

    2nd Lieutenant J. W. Holdsworth to be Lieutenant. Dated 28 August 1966.
    ROYAL N.Z. ARMOURED CORPS

    Captain (temp. Major) G. B. McK. Law, B.A., LL.B., is re-engaged for two years with effect from 13 January 1967.
    ROYAL N.Z. INFANTRY REGIMENT

    3rd Battalion (Auckland (Countess of Ranfurly's Own) and Northland), RNZIR
    2nd Lieutenant V. M. Gray to be Lieutenant. Dated 17 July 1966.
    The commission of 2nd Lieutenant (on prob.) J. O. Saunders is confirmed in the rank of 2nd Lieutenant with seniority from 1 December 1965.
    7th Battalion (Wellington (City of Wellington's Own) and Hawke's Bay), RNZIR
    Lieutenant (temp. Captain) D. K. Hunn relinquished the temp. rank of Captain. Dated 1 January 1966.
    Lieutenant T. M. Reedy is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Regimental List, 6th Battalion (Hauraki), RNZIR, in his present rank and seniority. Dated 8 February 1967.

    The commission of 2nd Lieutenant (on prob.) R. G. Thomas is confirmed in the rank of 2nd Lieutenant with seniority from 23 November 1964.

    Captain Neil Macdonald Fraser Officer, M.B., CH.B., from the 1st Field Surgical Team, RNZAMC, is granted a short-service commission for an initial period of one year in the rank of Captain. Dated 21 March 1967.

    Captain N. M. F. Officer, M.B., CH.B., is transferred to the Regular Force on being granted a short-service commission. Dated 21 March 1967.

    The commission of Captain (on prob.) Edward John Bernard Simpson, M.B., CH.B., D.P.H., lapses. Dated 26 February 1967.
