Notice of Registration of Order and Minute

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Sheffield Radio Ltd., a company duly incorporated in New Zealand and having its registered office in Auckland, notice is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 22nd day of March 1967, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £10,000 to £5,500, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 14th day of April 1967. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

“That the capital of the company be reduced from ten thousand pounds (£10,000) divided into ten thousand (10,000) shares of one pound (£1) each being eight hundred and fifty (850) one pound (£1) preference shares and nine thousand one hundred and fifty (9,150) one pound (£1) ordinary shares be reduced to five thousand five hundred pounds (£5,500) divided into eight hundred and fifty (850) one pound (£1) preference shares and four thousand six hundred and fifty (4,650) ordinary one pound (£1) shares, by paying to the holder, William James Meighan, of Auckland, company director, of all the ordinary shares in the company, the sum of four thousand five hundred pounds (£4,500) and cancelling four thousand five hundred (4,500) of the ordinary shares at present held by him.”

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waiheke Road Board proposes to execute a certain public work, namely, the dedication of public road near Seaview Road, Onetangi, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Board, situated in Belgium Street, Ostend, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

Every person affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land, who has any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, must set out his objection, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, in writing and send same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Clerk at his office aforesaid.

A public hearing of any objection lodged will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR ROAD

NOTICE is hereby given that the Rangitikei County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road, and for the purposes of that public work the lands described in the First and Second Schedules hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan showing the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the offices of Messrs Evans, Easther, Harris, and Goodman, Solicitors, 335 Wellington Road, Marton, and is there open for inspection, without fee, during ordinary office hours.

NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO STOP PORTIONS OF ROAD

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 148 of the Public Works Act 1928, that it is proposed to stop those portions of road described in the Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that the plan showing the portions of road to be stopped is deposited in the offices of Messrs Evans, Easther, Harris, and Goodman, Solicitors, 335 Wellington Road, Marton, and is there open for inspection, without fee, during ordinary office hours.

All persons objecting to the proposal to stop the portions of road must lodge their objections in writing at the office of the Rangitikei County Council, High Street, Marton, on or before the 29th day of May 1967. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public meeting of the ratepayers of the Rangitikei County will be called by public notice at a time and place to be specified in the notice.
