Declaring Land and a Pipeline Easement Over Land Taken for Water-Supply Purposes in Blocks IX and X, Waipu Survey District, Otamatea County
Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, sufficient agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for water-supply purposes, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Otamatea; and that a pipeline easement is hereby taken for water supply purposes over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Otamatea, first the full and free right, liberty, licence,
and authority in perpetuity to convey water along, under, or over the said land and, for that purpose, to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain a line of water pipes along, over, or under the said land; and, secondly, full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity for the Otamatea Council, its servants, agents, and workmen, from time to time and at all times hereafter, to go, pass, or repass, with or without vehicles or other equipment, over the land described in the said First Schedule for the maintenance and repair of the said line of pipes, such easement to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, from and after the 24th day of April 1967.
