THE MINING ACT 1926

NOTICE is hereby given that William James Stephens, of Cromwell, farmer, will apply by application No. 30, to the Warden of the Otago Mining District at Cromwell, at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, the 9th day of May 1967, for a licence for a water race to divert 1½ heads of water commencing in dredge pond about ¼ mile from Clutha River going through Section 29, Sunnyside Subdivision, in a south-westerly direction for 500 yards and terminating in Section 41, Block III, Cromwell S.D.

Objections must be filed in the office of the Mining Registrar, Cromwell, and notified to applicant whose address for service is at the office of Brodrick, Parcell, and Howley, Solicitors, Melmore Street, Cromwell, at least three days before the above-mentioned time of hearing.

NOTICE is hereby given that Lindsay Ralph Morris, G. F. Couper Ltd., and The Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Co. of N.Z. Ltd., as Trustee Estate, H. E. Harris, of Wanaka, farmers, will apply by application No. 24, to the Warden of the Otago Mining District, at Cromwell, at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, 9 May 1967, for a licence for a water-race to divert 9 heads of water commencing 10 chains below Pyle and Ironside's boundary, Sections 46 and 47, Block II, Lower Wanaka S.D., 2 chains out from Cardrona River bed proceeding in a north-easterly direction through Pyle's land for a distance of approximately 1,500 ft; thence through Allan Reid's property for a distance of 6,410 ft, then crossing Faulk's road about 12 chains from Maxwell-Faulks crossroads; thence in a northerly direction 12 chains through Couper Ltd. Sections; thence easterly along Maxwell's road about 50 chains; thence north-east across Maxwell's road through Ballantyne's land, Section 20, approximately 5 chains, then into Harris's Section 19; thence northerly crossing Ballantyne's road into Section 30 across old road into Section 41, Block IV, and finally into Sections 13 and 14 of L. R. Morris.

Lost Stock Certificates

APPLICATION has been made to the above company to issue a new certificate of title in lieu of original certificates Nos. 50519 and 50839, issued in the name of John Kenneth Cutler, now deceased. The executors of the estate have made a statutory declaration that the original certificates of title to the said stock have been lost.

Notice is hereby given that unless, within 30 days from the date hereof, there is made to the company some claim or representation in respect of the said original certificates, a new certificate will be issued in place thereof.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription £3 per calendar year in advance.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 50s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)

(3) Separate regulations as issued.
