Pursuant to the Local Government Commission Act 1961, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER
THE Order in Council made on the 29th day of August 1962 abolishing the County of Makara, constituting the Borough of Porirua, and altering the boundaries of the County of Hutt, is hereby amended by deleting from the Second Schedule thereto the words "and the Wellington-Foxton Motorway hereinbefore described".

Redefining the Limits of the Whangarei Harbour

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 3 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby redefine the limits of Whangarei Harbour, previously defined in section 9 of the Whangarei Harbour Board Vesting Act 1961, and the Second Schedule thereto, to be those defined in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
(a) All those tidal waters in the North Auckland Land District extending inshore to the line of high water ordinary spring tides, except as described in paragraph (b) below, having as a seaward limit, right lines drawn from a point at high water ordinary spring tide mark on the mainland due south of the summit of Sentinel Rock to a point 5 cables due east of Sentinel Rock; thence to a point 5 cables due east of Bream Head; thence to a point 5 cables due east of Tutukaka Head; thence to Tutukaka Head; thence following the line of high water ordinary spring tides on the southern side of South Gable Islet to the westernmost point of South Gable Islet, thence due west to the high water ordinary spring tide mark on the mainland.
(b) Inner limits for particular harbours as defined in the First Schedule of the Northland Harbour Board Act 1965 for Mangawai Harbour, Waipu Harbour, Whangarei Harbour, Pataua Harbour, Ngunguru Harbour, Tutukaka Harbour, and, as defined in the Whangarei Harbour Board Vesting and Empowering Act 1963, for Taiharuru River.
