WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 4, 1966—£10,200

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"Whereas the sum of £11,700, borrowed by the Waitemata County under the Water Supply Development Loan No. 2, 1960, £200,000, is due and payable on the 15th day of March 1967, and whereas the amount repaid in respect of the said loan amounts to only £1,500 and the amount of £10,200 is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves:

(a) To borrow the sum of £10,200 for the purpose of repaying the said loan;

(b) That the sum of £10,200 shall be repayable on the 15th day of March 1991, or such earlier date as may be determined by Council;

(c) That, for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 4, 1966, £10,200, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.007d. in the pound on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the County of Waitemata; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the loan, and payable yearly, on the 1st day of June each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 24 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of resolution No. 3714/66, passed by the Waitemata County Council on 15 December 1966.

PUTARURU BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Reservoir Redemption Loan 1966, of £5,500

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Putaruru Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £5,500, authorised to be raised by the Putaruru Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying part of the Reservoir Loan 1956, the said Putaruru Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of three-sixteenths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Putaruru Borough, comprising the whole of the Borough of Putaruru; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly, on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Putaruru Borough Council held on 19 December 1966.

AMURI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Workers' Dwelling Loan No. 5, 1966, £5,000

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Amuri County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £5,000, authorised to be raised by the Amuri County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing staff housing, the said Amuri County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.00184d. in the pound upon the rateable (capital) value of all rateable property in the County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly, on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

We hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Amuri County Council, held on the 9th day of December 1966.
