Classification of Roads in Waimate County

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955*, the Commissioner of Transport hereby revokes so much of the Warrant dated the 12th day of April 1951† as relates to the classification of roads in Waimate County described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby approves the Waimate County Council’s proposed classification of the said roads as set out in the said Schedule.

Okahukura Farm Settlement Notice 1967

PURSUANT to sections 330 and 331 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. This notice may be cited as the Okahukura Farm Settlement Notice 1967.
  2. The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

IT is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 15 December 1966, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 26 State Highway (Hamilton to Kopu), from the boundary of Hamilton City at the junction of the State highway with Silverdale Road to its junction with Eureka Station Road in the County of Waikato, more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 12 inclusive of plan M.O.W. 12964 and schedule of properties held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Hamilton, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Plant Declared Noxious Weed in the County of Stratford
(Notice No. Ag. 10023)

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purpose of the said section, the following special order, made by the Stratford County Council on the 18th day of November 1966, is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER

THAT, pursuant to the provisions of section 3 (1) of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Stratford County Council resolves, by way of special order, that Heath (Erica lusitanica and Erica arborea) shall be deemed to be a noxious weed within the County of Stratford.
