DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public Notification of District Scheme Change No. 6

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on 19 December 1966, change No. 6 in the Dunedin District Scheme, altering the alignment of the proposed Southern Motorway between Caversham Valley Road and Andersons Bay Road, as shown on the Ministry of Works plan ED. 41479 B19, has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Details of the proposed change are shown on plans deposited in the Town Clerk’s office and the City Engineer’s Office, Municipal Chambers, Dunedin, the Public Library, Moray Place, and the District Land Registrar’s Office, Dunedin, in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act, and are open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when these places are open to the public. The Ministry of Works plan ED. 41479 B19 may be also inspected on application at the Town Clerk’s office.

Objections to the change, or to any part thereof, shall be in writing in form E, prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than noon on Friday, 3 March 1967. At a later date, every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections, if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

QUEENSTOWN JOINT PLANNING COMMITTEE

Inviting Proposals for the Queenstown Combined District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Queenstown Joint Planning Committee at its meeting on Tuesday, 6 December 1966, has resolved to prepare for Queenstown Borough, Arrowtown Borough, and the townships of Frankton, Kingston, Kinloch, and Glenorchy, and the remaining part of Lake County contained within the Lake Wakatipu Basin a combined district scheme pursuant to the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

A map showing the boundaries of the area can be inspected at the Queenstown Borough Council Office, Ballarat Street, Queenstown, at any time during office hours.

Every person concerned and every local authority in the district as defined by section 2 of the Act is hereby invited to submit full information as to the proposals (including public works) which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the scheme.

Proposals marked “Queenstown Combined District Scheme” should be addressed to the Secretary and delivered to the Queenstown Borough Council’s Office, Ballarat Street, Queenstown, on or before the 5th day of May 1967.

WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Waimairi County District Scheme Proposed Change No. 5

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to resolutions of the Waimairi County Council, dated 17 November 1966, and 15 December 1966, it has been recommended that the operative district scheme be changed in respect of the matters listed hereunder.

The changes of the district scheme as now recommended by the Council are deposited in the Council offices at the corner of Clyde and Jeffreys Roads, the Upper Riccarton Memorial Library, and the Council’s receiving office at 152 Hereford Street, Christchurch.

Objections to the proposed changes of the district scheme may be made, in written notice, on form E, prescribed in the Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect, marked “Objection to scheme change”, and lodged at the offices of the Council not later than noon on Wednesday, 8 February 1967.

An appropriate form for use by objectors is available at the Council offices.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Council, in writing, within a period of which public notice will be given.

Zone Lot 25, D.P. 24940 (486 Wairakei Road), as a reserve for recreation purposes.

Wairarapa Riding

Zone proposed industrial zone, Wairakei Road east of Roydvale Avenue and Wooldridge Road, as industrial “A1”.
