Every person who claims to be affected may object to the proposed use of the land, and shall have a right to be heard by the Council, in person or by counsel, and to call evidence in support of his contentions, if he advises the Council to that effect, in writing, not later than noon on Friday, 3 February 1967. Every such notice shall state the grounds of the objection, and whether the objector wishes to be heard in support of his objection.

KAIRANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

Town and Country Planning Act 1953

Refuse Tip on James Line PUBLIC notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 38A of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, that the Kairanga County Council proposes to establish a refuse tip on James Line, on land described as Lot 1, D.P. 15807, also part Lot 8, of Rural Section 416, Town of Palmerston North, Block XI, Kairanga S.D. (disused metal reserve known as James Line Pit).

The disposal of refuse will be strictly controlled and under supervision by the Council's staff, and no organic matter will be accepted for disposal.

MINING ACT 1926

APPLICATION FOR EXTENSION TO A WATER RACE LICENCE THE Maniototo County Council hereby gives notice that it has applied to the Mining Warden at Cromwell for an additional two heads of water from the East Eweburn Creek, in Section 5, Block VI, Naseby District, in the same race as is at present held by the said county under licence No. 6091, for domestic purposes and any other purpose authorised by section 129 of the Mining Act 1926.

The application will be heard at the Warden's Court, Cromwell, on Tuesday, the 7th day of February 1967, at 10 a.m. Any objection to the application must be filed in the said Warden's Court and the applicant notified at least three clear days before the date of hearing.

FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that, at a poll of ratepayers of the Borough of Feilding, taken on the 13th day of December 1966, on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of £20,000 to be known as the Housing Loan 1966, for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting houses thereon, or purchasing land and existing houses, resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 245 The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 755 The number of informal votes was 8

I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.
