LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE
Administrative Building Extension Loan No. 2, 1966—£25,000 ($50,000)
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand pounds (£25,000) ($50,000), authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-named Act for the purpose of meeting the additional costs of completing the extension of the administrative building in Laings Road, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one hundred and twenty-two thousandths of a penny in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) on all the rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be incorporated in, and added to, the consolidated special rate made pursuant to the provisions of section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and be payable yearly, on or about the 1st day of August, in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until such time as the loan is paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on 28 November 1966.

PARNASSUS RABBIT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Parnassus Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two thousand five hundred and fifty pounds (£2,550), authorised to be raised by the Parnassus Rabbit Board under the above-mentioned Act for the Employees Housing Loan 1966, the said Parnassus Rabbit Board hereby makes a special rate of 0.56528 pence per acre upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Parnassus Rabbit Board rating area, comprising “All that area in the Counties of Amuri and Cheviot of the Canterbury Land District, containing 103,700 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the centre of the main stream of the Conway River, opposite the Gelt River, in Block 1 of the Hawksworth Survey District; thence proceeding in a south-westerly direction to, and along, the right bank of the Gelt River aforesaid to the easternmost corner of Lot 3 on Deposited Plan 2884; thence south-westerly generally along the south-east boundary of the said Lot 3 on Deposited Plan 2884, the north-west boundary of Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 2884, the south-east boundary of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 2884, to the westernmost corner of the last-mentioned Lot; thence across, and easterly along, the left bank of the Gelt River to the easternmost corner of Section 16, Square 80, Block IV, Waiau Survey District; thence north-westerly and westerly along the north-east and northern boundaries of that Section; thence westerly along the northern boundary of Section 15, Square 80, to its north-west corner; thence north-westerly along the fence line bisecting the southern portion of the Section (part) 48, Square 80 (the same being the northern boundary of the Mendy Hills Estate), to, and across a road, to the easternmost corner of Section 4, Annan Settlement; thence south-westerly generally along the eastern and southern boundaries of that Section, the eastern boundaries of Sections 6, 7, 8, 9, and 14, Annan Settlement, to the stock reserve on the Stanton River; thence along the old rabbit fence to the Stanton River back in a northerly direction to the eastern boundary of Section 14; thence along the same in a south-westerly and south-easterly direction to the centre of the main stream of the Waiau River; thence south-east generally along the centre of the main stream of that river to the sea; thence northerly by the sea to its junction with the centre of the main stream of the Conway River; thence generally in a north-westerly direction along the centre of the main stream of the Conway River to a point opposite the Gelt River, the place of commencement.”
And that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half-yearly, on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

LEE RABBIT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lee Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £3,500, authorised to be raised by the Lee Rabbit Board under the above-mentioned Act for Housing Loan 1966, the said Lee Rabbit Board hereby makes a special rate of 0.517d. per acre on all the rateable area of the Lee Rabbit District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

HELENSVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Public Notification of Helensville Borough District Scheme—Schedule No. 4, Relating to Code Amendment
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Helensville Borough Council made on the 17th day of October 1966, a change of the district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The change relates to subdivisional standards and building sites. The plan of the change has been deposited in the offices of the Council, Commercial Road, Helensville, in the Helensville Public Library, Commercial Road, Helensville, and in the office of the Auckland Regional Planning Authority, Textile House, Wyndham Street, Auckland C.1., in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the change of the scheme, or to any part thereof, shall be in writing in form E, prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council, at any time not later than 4 p.m. on Wednesday, 31 January 1967. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Deputy Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909, by writing under his hand this 8th day of December 1966, cancelled the registration of Court Hope of Green Island, Juvenile Friendly Society, Ancient Order of Foresters, at the request of the trustees of the society.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Deputy Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 7th day of December 1966, cancelled the registry of Loyal Hearts of Oak Lodge, No. 7864, of the Southland District of the Manchester Unity Independent Order of Odd Fellows (of New Zealand) Friendly Society (Register No. 312 (15) 2), held at Invercargill, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.
