LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Development Supplementary Loan 1966
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of five thousand four hundred pounds (£5,400), authorised to be raised by the Levin Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Development Loan 1965, £54,000, was raised, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of nine four-hundredths of a penny (⁹⁄₄₀₀d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

INVERCARGILL CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Renewal Loan No. 7, 1966—£16,000
THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £16,000, authorised to be raised by the Invercargill City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repayment of City Council securities maturing on the 31st day of December 1966, the said Invercargill City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two two two pence (.222d.) in the pound on the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value, of all rateable property in the City of Invercargill; and that the said special rate shall be payable yearly, on the 31st day of December in each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Invercargill City Council, held on Tuesday, 22 November 1966.

GREEN ISLAND BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Concord Development Redemption Loan 1966—£1,800
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Green Island Borough Council, at a special meeting held on 22 November 1966, passed the following resolution:
-
That the Green Island Borough Council, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and all other powers thereto, resolved to raise a redemption loan for the sum of one thousand eight hundred pounds (£1,800), for the purpose of repaying an issue in Concord Development Loan 1961.

The term of the said loan, or any part thereof, shall be for 25 years.

The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan, or any part thereof, shall be such as shall produce to the lender or lenders a rate not exceeding five-and-one-half percent per annum.

That a sinking fund in connection with this issue shall be created by the payment to sinking fund commissioners of annual payments of not less than £2 6s. 5d. percent per annum.

That a special rate of one farthing (¼d.) in the pound on the annual value of the Borough of Green Island is hereby pledged by the Council.

OTOROHANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pensioner Housing Loan 1966, £11,000
THAT, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £11,000, authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of erecting pensioner flats, the said Otorohanga Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.244d. in the pound on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Otorohanga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

HAVELOCK NORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pensioners’ Flats Building Loan 1966—£7,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Havelock North Borough Council did, at its meeting held on 22 November 1966, resolve as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £7,500, authorised to be raised by the Havelock North Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people, the said Havelock North Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.06d. (pence) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Havelock North; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and shall be payable on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RANGIORA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Electrical Reticulation Loan 1966, £30,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of paying the annual charges on a loan of £30,000, being the Electrical Reticulation Loan 1966, of £30,000, authorised to be raised by the Rangiora Borough Council under the above Act for the purpose of improving, renewing, and extending the Council’s electricity distribution system, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal seven six two four pence (.7624d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Rangiora; and that such special rate be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twelve (12) years, or until the loan is paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Public Hall Renewal Loan, £4,900
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waiuku Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £4,900, authorised to be raised by the Waiuku Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting debentures due on the Public Hall Loan, the said Waiuku Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point zero eight six (.086) pence in the pound (£) upon the rateable value, on the basis of the capital value, of all rateable property in the Borough of Waiuku; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
