ADVERTISMENT OF PETITION

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand No. M. 606/66
Northern District
(Auckland Registry)

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of the Auckland Sandal Co. Ltd., notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 10th day of November 1966, presented to the said Court by Gordon Hardy, of 10A View Road, Mount Eden, company director; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 3rd day of February 1967 at 10 a.m., and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing, in person or by his counsel, for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the under signed to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

The notice must state the name, address, and description of the person, or, if a firm, the name, address, and description of the firm, and an address for service within 3 miles of the office of the Supreme Court at Auckland; and must be signed by the person or firm, or his or their solicitor (if any); and must be served, or, if posted, must be sent by post in sufficient time to reach the above-named petitioner’s address for service not later than 4 p.m. on the 2nd day of February 1967.

H. L. HOLDINGS LTD.

REDUCTION OF CAPITAL

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand
Hamilton District

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of H. L. Holdings Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Morrinsville, notice is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 15th day of September 1966, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £4,500 to £500, and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 23rd day of November 1966. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

“The amount of share capital of H. L. Holdings Ltd., as altered by the order of the Supreme Court confirming the reduction of the share capital of the company, is five hundred pounds (£500), divided into one thousand (1,000) shares of ten shillings (10s.) each, and at the date of registration of this minute the amount of ten shillings (10s.) is deemed to be paid up on each share.”

WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Counties Act 1956:

Notice is hereby given that the Waimairi County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to take for the purposes of housing the land described in the Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the said land is deposited at the public office of the said Council, situated at the corner of Clyde and Jeffreys Roads, Christchurch, where it lies open for public inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected shall, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land (not being an objection to the amount for payment of compensation) set forth, in writing, such objection and send such writing within 40 days from the first publication of this notice (being the 24th day of November 1966), addressed to the County Clerk of the Waimairi County Council at the said office of the said Council.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situate off the Main North Road, Christchurch, adjoining the Northcote School, containing 1 acre and 7.2 perches, or thereabouts, being part Rural Section 290, part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Register 4A, folio 610 (Canterbury Registry), and all the land coloured blue on S.O. Plan 10740.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and amendments and the Counties Act 1956 and amendments, notice is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain work, namely, the construction and formation of a road passing through or adjoining the property of the Estate of C. E. Button, deceased, in Vermont Road in Glenfield Riding of the County of Waitemata, and for the purposes of such work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situated in the Council Chambers, 68–70 Greys Avenue, Auckland and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.

Every person affected by the proposal shall set forth in writing any objections he may wish to make to the execution of the work or to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and shall send such written objection within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk, at the Council Chambers. A public hearing of such objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

PART Allotment 126, Takapuna Parish, containing 4.7 perches, registered in certificate of title, Volume 568, folio 236, and shown coloured yellow edged yellow in Survey Office Plan No. 39567.

MARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR SPORTS GROUND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Marton Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a sports ground, and for the purposes of that public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken;

And notice is hereby further given that the plan showing the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Marton Borough Council, High Street, Marton, and is there open for inspection, without fee, during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands should, if they have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Marton Borough Council, High Street, Marton.

If any objection is made in accordance with the notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
