CORRIGENDUM
IN the Order in Council published in Gazette No. 57, 3 October 1966, p. 1521, consenting to raising of loans by certain local authorities, for the date “31st day of August 1966” read “17th day of August 1966”, which last-mentioned date appears in the Order in Council signed by His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Pekatahi to the Purposes of a Road

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a road and that the said road shall be under the control of the Whakatane County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

Both situated in the Whakatane County (S.O. 43231).
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 21032, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of November 1966.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 28th day of November 1966.
FIRST SCHEDULE
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block IX, Opoiti Survey District, Wairoa County, Gisborne R.D., described as follows:

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 25·3 perches situated in Block IX, Opoiti Survey District, Wairoa County, Gisborne R.D., and being part Section 42c, Wairoa Military Settlement; coloured blue, edged blue, on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 19852 (S.O. 5242) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 8th day of September 1966.

At the Government House at Wellington this 16th day of November 1966

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Manukau City Council to reclaim from the sea at Kawakawa Bay, Hauraki Gulf, an area of 4 acres 3 roods 15 perches, more or less, as a recreation reserve; as shown, edged red, on plan marked M.D. 12342 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.
