Motorway

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, and section 44 of
the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, His Excellency the
Governor-General, at the request of the National Roads
Board, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, hereby authorises the construction of a
motorway commencing at the junction of the Northcote-Albany
Motorway and Rosedale Road, Albany, and proceeding thence
generally in a northerly direction through the County of
Waitemata, passing west of Silverdale and through or by
Orewa County Town and terminating on the Awanui-Bluff
State Highway No. 1 near Waiwera.

the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as
a Maori reservation for the purpose of a bathing place for
the common use and benefit of the Ngati-Rorooterangi, Ngati-
Uenukukopako, and Rangiteaorere Hapus.
